Rep. Clifton “Clift” Kenichi Tsuji, 75, of Hilo died Nov. 15 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, he was a state representative and chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, retired senior vice president and Neighbor Island regional manager for Central Pacific Bank, U.S. Army Reserve veteran of 442nd Infantry Co. B in Hilo, and active with the Hilo Medical Center Foundation, Hawaii Island Japanese Community Association, Pacific Tsunami Museum, Hiroshima Kenjin Kai, Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, and the Kumamoto Kenjin Kai.
